This full day tour is a truly unique and personal experience in the Daintree Rainforest.
The day is split into two activities the Aboriginal Traditional Beach Day Tour (with the option to get involved in the traditional Fishing) and the Daintree Rainforest / Mossman Gorge.

Aboriginal Cultural Fishing Tour - Learn to throw a spear before taking a guided walk along the beach and through the Mudflats on this traditional cultural beach day walking tour. The guides will educate you on how the evolution of the lands, whilst they hunt for fish and crabs to collect and take back to their family.

We start the day with a scenic coastal drive through some of the most inspiring scenery in the world, the winding road travels through the tropical rainforest and along secluded beaches.
Our first tour is with the local indigenous tribe on a coastal beach walk experience, you will be introduced to the traditional fishing activity of spear throwing and handling. Practice your aim and shoot before embarking on a stroll (spear in hand) along the beach, through the mangroves and mudflats observing cultural medicine and food plants, whilst spotting the array of sea life beneath the water and hiding between the mangroves ! Enjoy a Homemade Damper on the Beach at the end of the tour.

Next, we head inland, nestled in the World Heritage Listed Daintree Rainforest, Mossman Gorge contains the oldest, continuously surviving tropical rainforest on earth.
6A Option:
Your visit to the Daintree Rainforest on Tour 6A starts with the famous Dreamtime Walk. Your Dreamtime Walk begins with a traditional ‘smoking’ ceremony to cleanse and ward off bad spirits. Next, your guide will lead you on a meandering stroll through stunning, lush rainforest, observing traditional huts or humpies along the way. Your experienced interpretive Indigenous guide demonstrates traditional plant use, identifies bush food sources, and provides an enchanting narrative of the rainforest and their special relationship with this unique tropical environment. Discover traditions like making bush soaps and ochre painting. At the end of the tour, enjoy traditional bush tea and damper – the perfect treat after your journey. Enjoy free time to swim in the crystal-clear waters of Mossman Gorge, surrounded by large granite boulders, these rocks contain a percentage of quartz, these waters are known to be healing to your body, mind and soul.
6B Option:

Fitness Requirements
This experience calls for a medium level of fitness as guests will be walking across the soft sand along the beach, through mudflats and wading through coastal waters up to knee height.
