Cancellation Policies
Day Tours
Fishing Tours: Tour 2, Tour 6A & Tour 6B
Cancellations and changes to tour bookings are strictly 7 days.

All bookings - Minimum 4 Adults to operate a tour.
In the unlikely event of a cancellation by Sacred Owl Tours, a full refund will be provided.

Standard Tours:
Tour 1, Tour 3A, Tour 3B, Tour 4,Tour 5, Tour 7A, Tour 7B, Tour 9A, Tour 9B
These tours require a minimum of 72 hours’ notice to cancel or re-schedule.
In the unlikely event of a cancellation by Sacred Owl Tours, a full refund will be provided.
Multi-day Tours
Tour 11 & Tour 12
Cancellation by Sacred Owl Tours.
A minimum number of passengers are required to operate.
We may cancel a trip at any time prior to departure if, due to terrorism, natural disasters, seasonality, political instability, other external events or other unexpected circumstances, if it is not viable for us to operate the planned itinerary.
It may be necessary to cancel a scheduled departure and to offer an alternative, a full credit or a full refund for that tour if minimum numbers are not met or if unexpected circumstances or external events arise.

We are not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking, including but not limited to visas, vaccinations, travel insurance excess, non-refundable flights or accommodation.
Cancellation by travellerIf you cancel some or all portions of your booking, cancellation fees will apply.
A cancellation will only be effective when we receive written confirmation of the cancellation via email.
Once travel has commenced, no refunds will be made for any unused services and clients will be responsible for their travel arrangements from that point onward.
Multiday trips - Queensland Full deposit must be paid upon booking.
Final amount must be paid 60 days prior to departure
Cancellations 60 days or more prior to departure – Loss of deposit paid;
Between 59-31 days prior to departure – 50% cancellation fee of total tour cost;
30 days or less prior to departure – 100% cancellation fee of total tour cost; On tour cancellation – 100% cancellation fee of total tour cost.
Postponing your tour will result in a $300 fee per person. No cancellation fees will be waived as a result of the following:Injury or sickness. Delayed, rescheduled or missed flights. Climatic, social or political problems. Postponement. If you postpone your tour, cancellation fees will apply.
A postponement will only be effective when we receive written confirmation of the cancellation via email. A postponement must be approved by Sacred Owl Tours staff in writing, otherwise it is considered a cancellation.Where there is a rise in tour price, you will be required to pay the full amount of the new tour price. Credits may be used where money has been kept with Sacred Owl Tours.
